General Submission Principles

AMCC welcomes high-quality, original manuscripts that provide valuable clinical insight and contribute to medical knowledge. We publish a range of article types including case reports, case series, clinical images, mini reviews, editorials, and letters to the editor. Manuscripts must be unpublished, not under review elsewhere, and ethically sound.


Manuscript Categories & Requirements

Case Reports

Detailed presentations of unique, rare, or educational clinical cases that illustrate important insights into diagnostics or management. Include relevant figures/tables and reference current literature where appropriate.

Case Series

Reports summarizing two or more related cases treated or observed under similar clinical conditions. Series should emphasize shared patterns and clinical significance.

Clinical Images

Up to three high-resolution images accompanied by concise descriptive text (approximately 200–300 words) highlighting clinical importance.

Mini Reviews

Focused reviews on emerging clinical topics, limited to approximately 3000 words with up to 25 references, emphasizing recent developments.

Editorials & Letters

Short commentaries or perspectives (?1000 words) addressing contemporary clinical issues, recent publications, or debate-worthy topics.


Core Manuscript Structure

Each manuscript should include the following sections:

  1. Title Page — Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author contact.
  2. Abstract — A concise summary of key findings (unstructured for AMCC).
  3. Keywords — 4–7 terms to enhance discoverability.
  4. Introduction / Background — Context and justification for the report.
  5. Case Presentation / Series — Detailed clinical narrative and findings.
  6. Discussion & Conclusions — Interpretation, clinical significance, and implications.
  7. Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  8. Declarations (ethics, conflicts, funding, author contributions)
  9. References — Cited sequentially in brackets.


Formatting & Style

  • Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and submitted in Microsoft Word format.
  • Use Times New Roman, 12-pt font, double spacing, with margins of at least 1 inch.
  • Figures and tables should be high quality and numbered in order of appearance.
  • Abbreviations must be defined at first mention.


Ethics, Consent & Integrity

All case reports must include documentation of informed consent from patients or legal guardians, and ethical approval where applicable. Patient privacy must be strictly maintained.


References

Citations should be current, relevant, and formatted consistently. References should support evidence-based insights or highlight comparative literature.


Publication Ethics

  • Originality — Manuscripts must be new and unpublished.
  • Plagiarism Free — All submissions undergo similarity screening; plagiarism or self-plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
  • Conflict of Interest — Authors must disclose any financial or personal interests.


Copyright & Licensing

Authors retain copyright under a Creative Commons license, permitting free distribution and reuse with proper citation.


Submission Workflow

Authors may submit their manuscripts through the online submission system or by emailing the editorial office. All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a structured peer-review process. Editorial decisions are communicated in a timely, fair, and transparent manner.

  • Authors may withdraw a manuscript before or during the peer-review process by submitting a written request.
  • Once a manuscript is accepted or published, withdrawal is only permitted after payment of the applicable withdrawal fee.
  • Requests must come from the corresponding author, with confirmation from all co-authors
  • The withdrawal fee covers editorial evaluation and processing efforts
  • No refund of publication or processing charges is provided after withdrawal
  • The journal maintains records for editorial and ethical purposes
